Aachen-Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials (AMIBM) will host its third international conference on Applied Biobased Materials (ABC). This year's theme will be: Biobased Materials for Innovations in Fibre Applications.
AMIBM professors will guide you through the value chain and have partnered with renowned international academia to offer various perspectives and create interesting discussions on Biobased Materials. Our research groups will present latest results and developments from AMIBM.
Speakers
We are thrilled to welcome Professor Pasi Kallio from the Tampere University of Technology in Finland as our Keynote speaker.
We can also confirm the following guest spreakers:
- Prof. Lorenzo Moroni (MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine)
- Prof. Udo Conrad (IPK in Gatersleben), a pioneer on the production of spider silk in tobacco and the expression of ELPs in plants
- Prof. Thomas Gries (Institute for Textile technology Aachen, RWTH Aachen)
- Prof. Claude Villeneuve (Université du Québec à Chicoutimi) who is an expert in climate change and sustainable development
